NORTHERN MONK REFECTORY LDS
Northern Monk Refectory LDS is located on the first floor of the Old Flax Store and is a true showcase of the varied styles of beer that we brew. It has 16 keg and 2 cask lines, and the fridges are packed with fresh cans to takeaway. See what’s currently pouring on Untappd.
The kitchen hosts regular takeovers from local food vendors, and the upstairs event space, Chapter Hall, is available for private functions, weddings and corporate hire. Luigi Street Food Italiano is currently running The Refectory kitchen, take a look at the menu here.

Please note, we are unable to take table bookings on a Friday and Saturday. Due to the fact that this is a listed building, unfortunately there are no lift facilities available.

NORTHERN MONK REFECTORY MCR
Northern Monk Refectory MCR is located in the heart of Manchester’s Northern Quarter, and is open seven days a week. Also a listed building, this two-floor tap room features 18 keg lines and 4 cask lines, as well as a selection of draft and mixed cocktails. See what’s currently pouring on Untappd.
The dedicated in-house kitchen team offer a seasonal menu of Northern-inspired dishes and sharing boards throughout the week. Food is available 12pm-8pm Mon-Thurs, and 12pm-9pm Fri & Sat, take a look at the menu here. A sharing roast is served from 12pm on Sundays.
The site has three rooms, with the downstairs Cellar Bar available to hire any day of the week, and the second upstairs room available to hire Mon-Weds. Please call or email firstname.lastname@example.org to enquire. There’s a takeaway can fridge on-site, as well as a fully-stocked merch store.
