GREED IS A BOTTOMLESS PIT.

The fifth deadly sin with Adrian Baxter. We have reached GREED.

Safe to say that greed is something the UK and the US have specialised in over the centuries, to say the least. Chris from Transient Ales, our collaborating brewing on this one, thought it would an excellent nod to flavour this super thick pastry stout with all the things the two countries used to help themselves to through exploitation and taking them from other nations. Namely, coffee, vanilla, rum, muscovado cane sugar, and spices.

The result is a super thick, sticky, gooey stout, packed with flavours and aromas of cinnamon, rum, coffee, dark chocolate and vanilla, featuring Nottingham ale yeast provided by Lallemand Brewing. We also added coffee sourced from Chipp Coffee, using their Temple Arches blend in which Kenya Kiangundo takes the lead, for the deep coffee notes.

SERIES 38 // ADRIAN BAXTER

Traditional illustrations from the hills of West Yorkshire. Fuelled by a love for ancient esoteric symbolism, its visual language and intriguing compositions.

Though having dipped a metaphorical toe into book covers, logos, and private commissions over the last 6 years, Adrian predominantly works within the heavy metal album art/merchandise realm.
